Introduction to Retrieving Trials & Mock Trial/Training Event

17th & 18th March, 2018
“Arthursleigh”, Big Hill, NSW
Mock Trial to be judged by: Joe Barber
Start times: 8:30am both days
Cost: $30 per day or $50 for both days (Non-retrieving attendees: $20 per day or $30 for both days)

Schedule of Events
Saturday
Will include presentation on gun handling and safety, and introduction to gunshot as required for new starters.
Restricted Mock Trial with opportunity to train the blind/s prior to the trial
Novice training tailored to the needs of participants (questionnaire to be completed in advance)

Sunday
Insights into successful trialling by judge, Joe Barber
Novice Mock Trial
Restricted training tailored to the needs of participants (questionnaire to be completed in advance)

Accommodation
Limited, very basic accommodation available onsite. Get in early if you would like to book a room in the shearer’s quarters. $10 per night.
Hot showers, toilets, and kitchen facilities available. Onsite camping available although access to power is limited.

Meals
Bacon and egg sandwiches available for breakfast both mornings ($4each) and dinner will be catered on Saturday night – BBQ meat/chicken and salad + desserts ($15pp). Lunches and snacks are BYO.

Registration
Numbers are limited and it will be first in best dressed. Please contact the secretary as per below to register your interest and to receive a questionnaire. All questionnaires must be returned by 8th March, 2018 so that a final schedule can be prepared.
