Affiliated with the South Australian Canine Association Inc., is conducting it’s
RETRIEVING ABILITY TESTS for GUNDOGS (RATG) at Willunga, SA. (new property, directions will be emailed after close of entries)
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May 2018

NOVICE Retrieving Ability Test
2.3. To be eligible to compete in a Novice Retrieving Ability Test, a dog must not have received three passes in Novice Retrieving Ability Tests under at least two Judges or gained any of the following Titles as defined in the Rules for the Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs (effective 1 Jan 2014) – DM, CM, QND, NRD, RRD, AARD, RT CH, Nat RT CH, Grand RT CH.
OPEN Retrieving Ability Test
2.4. To be eligible to compete in an Open Retrieving Ability Test, a dog must have received three passes in Novice Retrieving Ability Tests or have gained any of the following Titles as defined in the Rules for the Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs (effective 1 Jan 2014) – DM, CM, QND, NRD, RRD, AARD, RT CH, Nat RT CH, Grand RT CH
A starting pistol WILL NOT be used at these Retrieving Ability Tests.
DUMMY: The type of dummies used shall be at the discretion of the Judge in compliance with the Rules. DUMMIES must be presented for inspection prior to close of vetting.
Novice 2 dummies required, Open requires 3. Separate dummies required for each dog per Test.
If the entry is excessive the Novice and Open class in each trial will run concurrently.
No catering.
Camping is not permitted on the Property. Nearest Camping available at Kuitpo Forest by arrangement with the Rangers, McLaren Vale Caravan Park or Strathalbyn Caravan Park.
