The Retrieving Club held an All Age stake on July 20th at one of the few sites still available very close to Perth, known as Harper St Site. The terrain here is very rugged, with hidden gullies and logs and high kikuyu and watsonia to hinder a dogs progress. Luckily, after suffering a severe battering from a storm over Thursday and Friday, the day dawned fine and sunny, even though it was frosty.

It was great to see so many of the starters still in at the end of the trial.
