These trials went off without a drenching, just some light drizzle on Sunday. The entry was very good and the Society thanks everyone who entered. You may recall that we had to cancel these trials last year for lack of entries. Thank you to our judges Joe Law, Graeme Parkinson and Ron Cooper.

I've taken these results from my catalogue. Please feel free to correct them if I have placings or points wrong.

Congratulations to all the winners, placegetters and finishers. And particular congratulations to Joe Vella and Blackie who were awarded a perfect score on the last run in All Age on Sunday.

It was good to see the Gundog Society's newest Life Member and Vice President Maureen Cooper running 2 dogs in All Age and a dog in Novice after a long bout of medical treatment.

Thank you to our Trials Secretary, Flo Tidswell, for another trial well planned and executed and to the property owners who were (as always) helpful and supportive. Must be the GSPs they own !!!

Thank you, Peter. Was wondering how long it would take me with these numb fingers! Just a few additions...

4th in All Age on Saturday was:

RT Ch Kadnook Tanks Aheap (R & P Tawton) Lab D

and 4th in All Age on Sunday was;

Coalsgarth Wild Penny RRD ( Mrs M Cooper) Lab B

Novice on Sunday is in error with the second and third placings. Second was Paul Hamson's GSP with 133 pts and 3rd was Carol with her Lab B on 131 pts. This mistake was not discovered until after presentation and the handlers have been informed..

Also Jack's Fern is a RT Ch but this was a catalogue error.

I must add a huge thank you to Peter and Flo for working BOTH Days in All Age, it was a great effort from them and very much appreciated by us as four of us at All Age were also running in Novice which left the stake rather depleted for helpers!

Maureen

Lovely to see the Pointer winning Restricted - hope she is coming to Benella at Easter?
