The Working Gundog Club of NSW held its second weekend of trialling on 25 adn 26 August at Riverlea, via Braidwood. Conditions were very pleasant, once the fog had cleared each morning. Following the mud-festival at our June trial, we were delighted that no-one got bogged at this trial.

Here are the results.

Saturday, 25 August 07

Novice: (Judge: Joe Law)

1. Donna Bruhl's GOLDALLURE MISS FORTUNE UD (GR B) 158 points
2. Kirsty Gray's FIREBUSH SERGEANT PEPPER (FCR D) 153 points
3. Mark Sargison's POINTGOLD HELGA (GSP B) 136 points
4. Colleen Davis' Ch WEONAWEI MELLOW YELLOW ET (Wei B) 135 points
Donna is a newcomer to the sport, and has a very stylish and promising dog. We look forward to seeing her at trials regularly. It was also great to welcome Kirsty Gray back into trialling after an extended absence with a very nice flat coat.

2. Jason Ferris' BEEREEGAN KEMI KEMI (Lab B) 142 points
3. Flo Tidswell's ADDERSLOT CRACKERS ANNIE NRD (Lab B) 130 points
Congratulations to Joe and Jane. This win brings up BJ's RRD.

Well done Kirsty and Pepper!

Last weekend I gave them a perfect score (100/100) in Novice GWT and it was worth at least 110!!!

A force to be reckoned with in the future.

Kudos to the Bossco dog and boss Beveridge, and great to see a shorthair getting a run for a placement in a retriever trial.
