Tasmanian State Championship judged by Alan Bartram (WA) over 5 runs
The first three runs were held in what I can only describe as absolutely foul conditions! but today was better....
1st Bob Tawton’s Rt Ch Kadnook Tanks Aheap (Lab Dog, Tank) on 225 points, 2nd Joe Vella’s Gr Rt Ch Kaemajae All Black (Lab Dog, Blackie) on 207 points, 3rd Mark Davis’ Nat Rt Ch Beereegan One Tree (Lab Dog, Swampy) on 205 points
Highest Scoring Non Retrieving Trial Champion to finish – Vic Ayres’ Bolo, Oldest Dog to Finish – Joe Vella’s Blackie, Youngest Dog to finish – Vic Ayres’ Bolo, Highest Scoring Tasmanian Dog – Vic Ayres’ Bolo.
Congratulations to Bob and Tank as this championship win gives Tank his Grand Retrieving Champion title, and on a personal note, it was my privilege to watch Joe and Blackie take out the Tassie Cup and come second in Blackie’s final championship, as he has now retired him.

I know this is a little late, but I would like to congratulate Bob on gaining the Grand Champion title with Tank.
To gain a Grd Rt Ch with one dog is an amazing achievement but to do it with two currently competing dogs is a spectacular achievement, and is testament to Bobs training methods....and to two exceptional dogs.
Hearty congratulations Bob.

Regards
Allan
