1st Susie Partridge’s Lab Bitch Beereegan Charlies Angel 130pts (which gives Meg her NRD)
2nd G & A Playdon’s Lab Bitch Tockatunga Black Sheep on 119pts
3rd Cascott Kennels’ Lab Dog Ashbeare Lindsay on 112pts

Tassie Cup - All Age Judge: - Mr Trevor Stevens (Vic)
1st R & P Tawton Lab Dog Rt Ch Kadnook Tanks Aheap on 186pts (which gives Tank his Retrieving Dog of the Year title I believe - Congratulations Bob, Pam & Tank)
2nd M & W Davis’ Lab Dog Nat RT CH Beereegan One Tree on 178pts
3rd J Lynch’s Lab Bitch Rt Ch Coalsgarth Tassie Fern on 162pts


Tassie State Championship 5th & 6th November 2006
Judge: - Mr Bob Tawton (ACT)

1st Joe Vella’s Lab Dog Grd RT Ch Kaemajae All Black on 248pts (which means that Joe and Blackie have won every state champs in Aust - congratulations Joe, Jane and Blackie)
2nd M & W Davis’ Lab Dog Nat RT CH Beereegan One Tree on 240pts
3rd K & N Eltringham’s Lab Dog Grd RT Ch Reveirter Jet Kite (A) on 214pts

On a personal note.... Contratulation to all the finishers. I would like to thank everyone for coming down to Tas, and making it one of the best champs we have had. I was privledged to see some outstanding dog work. And as a competitor (albeit brief) a big thank you to Ian & Sue Axton, John Speed, Billy Hepburn and Maree Bourke who worked their you know whats off to make a great trial.

We had 14 dogs starting in the Tas State Champs, with 8 dogs going into the second day. Congratulations to the dogs who finished, but didn't place, they were (and I don't know their finishing order):- Jack Lynch's Fern, Russell Kennon's Kita, Noel Eltringham's Tug and Kate Eltringham's Ski
