Thank you for the entries, the trial was quite well supported over all stakes though a few bitches came into season and we did have a few absentees. We especially welcomed three new competitors from Working Gundog Tests and though their dogs did not place, their dogs showed a great deal of potential, completed some retrieves and dogs and owners seemed to enjoy the day. We hope they return to trial and that it was not a one-off!

Thank you for posting the results of these trials. Maureen.

Thank you from the Gundog Society to everyone who entered and who helped out over both days. We caught up with a few of you at the dinner on Saturday Night which was fun.

Congratulations to all the placegetters and to everyone who finished and especially to Joe and Blackie on winning the Autumn Sheid.

It is great to see second place go to Wayne and his GSP Charlie who had a terrific weekend with first in Novice on Saturday bringing up his NRD and then first in Restricted on Sunday.

The Wei who placed first in Novice on Sunday is sired by Gr Ch Weonawei Lord of the Dance bred by Karen Collins. Karen died 2 weeks ago after a long battle with skin cancer. She was only 53. It is a wonderful tribute to her memory to see a Paris' son doing so well at the real thing.

We were one of the absentees this weekend. Work caught up with us both but we will be out there soon. Happy trialling.

President, The Gundog Society

OOps  Sorry to Jack and Fern (RT Ch Coalsgarth Tassie Fern) who actually came 4th on 20th May in All Age under John and NOT Peter and I :!: Guess I was just so excited to actually finish an All Age with Chessie :D Just been typing all the results up for newsletter and discovered my mistake.
