Tassie's TGTA Retrieving Trial May 29th & 30th

The Tasmanian Gundog Trial Association’s first Retrieving Trial for 2004 was held on May 29th and 30th on the South Esk River in northern Tasmania. Joe Law from New South Wales judged all four stakes, a double Novice, Restricted and All Age. Three dogs titled over the weekend, two NRD’s and a Retrieving Champion.
Results were:
Saturday’s Novice: 1st Sid Drew’s Chesridge Water Witch (Ches Bay Ret Bitch) on 151 points – giving ‘Ruby’ her NRD; 2nd Dale Marshall’s Kadnook Kelvingrove (Lab Ret Dog) on 144 points; 3rd Natasha Faulkner’s Silbersee Jaunty Johnny (Wei Dog) on 120 points.

Saturday’s All Age: 1st Vic Ayres’ Kadnook Country Ladd RRD (Lab Ret Dog) on 113 points – Giving ‘Laddie’ his Retrieving Championship; 2nd Susie Partridge’s Rt Ch Majoley Rags T Riches (Lab Ret Dog) on 111 points; 3rd John Beven’s Rt Ch Kadnook My McGregor (Lab Ret Dog) on 99 points.

Sunday’s Retricted: 1st Dale Marshall’s Kadnook Kelvingrove (Lab Ret Dog) on 122 points – giving ‘Jonty’ his NRD; 2nd John Speed’s Coushatta Pale Ghost NRD (GSP Dog) on 110 points. No 3rd place.

Sunday’s Novice: 1st Natasha Faulkner’s Silbersee Jaunty Johnny (Wei Dog) on 147 points; 2nd Scott Castle’s Kadnook Star Trekker (Lab Ret Dog) on 133 points; 3rd Jordan Castle’s Ashbeare Lindsay (Lab Ret Dog) on 125 points.
