Full National and Queensland results?

Would it be possible for someone to post the FULL results for the National this year as we had last year ie youngest dog, highest scoring single run, highest scoring lady handler etc etc. Also could someone from Queensland please post ALL trial results, I did a print out of all their trials and very few results have been posted. All the other States seem to give all trial results with the exception of Queensland.

Hi Maureen

Woops - probably my job!

I usually wait until trial results are posted in a newsletter of one of the clubs, but they come out quarterly - so there is a bit of a delay. I'll take a look at the National results as well.

Maybe you just can't wait for confirmation that Taxi "the Wonder dog" had actually won a trial last weekend?! Despite both of us being senile (he is actually faster than I am).

Neither of us responding to "Numnuts" from now on...........

Cheers - Alan

Whew, Alan. I read the content of your post, without my reading glasses, and for a moment it looked like you said "sterile". I thought, Uhuh, can't be that, but put on the glasses to make sure, and, the word was "senile".
But.........with the nickname Numnuts.........mmmmmmm ????

Re putting in results of trials, I put the results on the site as soon as I can after the trial, usually 1 to 3 days. Most trial results given are from me personally attending the trial and presentations. This year though for Novice and Restricted, I will be phoning Club Secretaries after the trials for those results, but will still be competing in All Age myself so can submit the results as usual. I like to see the trial results on the site asap after the trial. Knowing many of the triallers competing in Australia personally, I like to keep up to date with who won what, when and where.

Hi Kerry - I'm beginning to think I'm a bit too quick. That posting by me was 4 months ago - so I'm pleased to know that it has been read at last by somebody!

Jackie Price will be posting the Queensland results from now on - I did it for years, and nobody seemed to notice! I have warned her that effusive thanks will not necessarily be forthcoming..........

Cheers - Alan

PS Numnuts has passed his eyesight test, and will be competing in All Age for yet another season (he's only 11). His nuts also OK at the last litter - 11 pups. Trying for 12 next time.

Thank you, Bob, and you too Alan! I used to be a member of a Queensland Club and so got results from newsletters but now no longer a member and though effusive thanks may not be forthcoming you should know from the hits that results are read!

As all dog club folks know, many positions are thankless despite the effort put in; so to all posters, your results are appreciated by many even if you go unthanked. Just give club members time to sit down and type up the results, not a 5 minute job for the computer illiterate!

Hope your comment means we will be seeing you at Jugiong, Alan!

Hi Alan,

Must have missed that September post for some reason, but as you say, at least I have read it.

Know exactly what you mean about a thankless task doing results, reporting etc. I have done the retrieving reports over here for many years, going to all the trials, taking photos & spending days compiling an interesting, informative report. Very few people bother to acknowledge the effort, let alone say they enjoyed reading it. So you are not alone.

I too have said enough is enough, although I will continue doing the results for the AWRC site.

Good old Taxi still doing it, huh ? Like Red Wine........ ??
