GUNDOG CLUB W.A. 65TH ANNIVERSARY ALL AGE STAKE

The Gundog Club of W.A. held their All Age stake on July 18th. Ray Johnson had secured the use of a new site at Spencers Brook, and what a lovely area it was to trial in, with the Avon River running through, and varied terrain. Another fine day for this trial, and with rain in W.A. being short this season, the river was flowing slowly with mostly splashy water around chest high. Some deeper areas of cover, bush and gullies required the dogs to hunt out the game on some runs. Thanks to Chris Thompson for her organising for the trial, and to Donna, Ray J, Heather, Ray P, Colin and Zoe for their work, either on the day, or in preparation.

3rd: R.T. Ch Featherhunt Joshua (Lab. Dog) Judy Pannett 143 points

In equal fourth place was Truclass The Swagman and Kerry Webster and Mhadaidh Red Hot Special and Dave Henderson, both on 139 points.
