W.A. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TRIAL 2011

The W.A. State Championship Retrieving trial was held over the weekend 17/18th September. Unlike Qld we don't have a saying for our weather here, but this time I might comment that is was "beautiful one day, bloody awful the next". Yes, Saturday was just about perfect with just enough sunshine, gentle breeze etc. Sunday morning, we saw the worst thunderstorm ever, and heavy rain which continued in showers for most of the day. Our judge seemed to be right at home in the wet. Congratulations to the Championship working party for putting on such a well run and successful event once again, and special thanks from all the competitors and organisers to these people who came for the weekend to work. Without them the trial would not have happened. Thanks to, Dave Boswell, Colin Hankinson, Richard Courtman, Anne Cameron, Glenice McClure, Manfred Meerkotter and Catherine Thorburn. Photos will be posted soon.
The results are:

JUDGE: MR. T. STEVENS (VIC)

1st Place: R.T. Ch. Ellishea Katos Czarda (Golden Retriever Bitch) Heather Ellis 310 points
