Lab Club QLD results 27/28th July

Postby Wendy Michalk » Tue 30 Jul 2013 8:43 pm

The Labrador Retriever Club QLD held their Chips weekend of trialling at Dallarnal , this was a good lead up trial to our QLD Championship which is being held next weekend. The property always offers plenty of scope for judges & never fails to deliver excellent trialling. The weather was comfortable in early twenties with a cooling shower on Sunday but over all great for retrieving trials. Thanks to Trevor Stevens (& Lyn)who traveled all the way from Victoria to judge THE CHIPS TRIAL on Sunday.

A huge thank you to the Wide Bay Working Gundog Club for helping out the Lab Club during this weekend.
Firstly, when out property was withdrawn Wide Bay offered us their wonderful Dallarnil property and offered to supply all the equipment and even organised the birds and the toilet hire for us.
As if that wasn't enough, when I had some unexpected health issues and was unable to go, I sent up all the paperwork, gifts raffles etc and Wendy Michalk and Marg Sullivan stepped up and became trial secretaries for the weekend.
Thanks to them and to Trevor Lodder, I believe the trial was a great success.
If anyone ever wonders why Wide Bay is probably one of the most successful trialling clubs in the country, the reasons are clear. Not only do they work together as a team but they are willing to step up and help out other clubs if needed.
THANK YOU!!!
