GOLD CUP RETRIEVING TRIAL
18TH OCTOBER 2015
KANIMBLA VALLEY (HARTLEY)

JUDGES:
NOVICE (SILVER GOBLET) STAKE – MR RAY TEMPLE (NSW)
RESTRICTED (CRYSTAL) STAKE – MR STEVEN BATH (NSW)
ALL AGE (GOLD CUP) STAKE – MR PAUL TOWNING (QLD)

NOVICE STAKE: Confined to gundogs that (to the date of the Trial) have not won any Stake other than four (4) Novice Stakes. Puppy Stake and Beginners Test excluded.
RESTRICTED STAKE: Confined to gundogs that have not won five (5) Restricted Stakes or an All Age Stake or have been placed first or second in a Championship Stake.
ALL AGE STAKE: Confined to gundogs that have won a Novice Stake or have been placed first, second or third in a Restricted Stake.


RETRIEVES: Novice Stake: Three runs, single mark retrieve, land and water as selected. Restricted and All Age Stakes: Three runs, land and water as selected.
(There will be three (3) runs for each stake unless otherwise stated at the start of the Trial.)

AWARDS ALL STAKES: Trophy and Sash 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Novice: 4th place Sash

Entry Fees: Novice: $18.00 Restricted: $20.00 All Age: $20.00
All entry fees made out to The Golden Retriever Club of N.S.W. Inc.
(Please use trial entry forms and include a stamped and self addressed envelope with your entry. Directions and map for the trial site and camping will be sent with your receipt.)

DRAW WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE TRIAL SECRETARY’S ADDRESS ON WEDNESDAY, 7TH OCTOBER 2015 AT 7.30PM

R.N.S.W.C.C. Representative: A member of the Dogs NSW RAFT Committee.
IMPORTANT: It is a term and condition of any entry to any trial conducted by the Golden Retriever Club of NSW Inc. that a person who enters a dog in a trial or handles a dog at a trial does not return to the property on which the trial has been conducted or visit that property before the trial without permission. Permission can only be given in writing by the person who organised the property for the trial.

The Club reserves the right to appoint additional or substitute judges if required.

IF YOU HAVE SENT A SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE AND YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR NUMBERS, RECEIPT AND MAP THE MONDAY BEFORE THE TRIAL (12TH OCTOBER 2015) PLEASE TELEPHONE THE TRIAL SECRETARY TO MAKE SURE YOUR ENTRIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

The Working Gundog Club Inc. will hold their Retrieving Trial in the same area on 17TH October 2015 making two trials on one weekend.

Just a reminder that the GRCNSW Gold Cup Retrieving Trial entries are closing soon.
The WGC are holding their trial on saturday 17th October.
Please be aware that the entry closing dates are different.
Don't miss out enter now.
The competitors that attended last years Gold Cup trial were very impressed & this years trial promises to be just as good.

Just a quick note to advise that we will accept entries for the Gold Cup Retrieving Trial for the next couple of days. If you intend to enter please get your entries in ASAP.
The event will be sponsored by Blackhawk dog food and LoveEm dog treats.

The ballot was held last night & we have 18 novice, 7 restricted & 10 all age. A brilliant entry for the last trial of the year.

Some additional information for all entrants, spectators & visitors.

The number cards can be collected at vetting.

Travel directions to the camp site. (Also the WGC trial on 17.10.15).

See this MAP for location.

The camp site is located at the intersection of Cullenbenbong Rd & Table Rock Fire Rd, Ganbenang (your GPS will probably be able to located the site).

When traveling from either the Katoomba or Lithgow direction, proceed to the intersection of The Great Western Highway & Coxes River Rd.
Turn into Coxes River Rd.

Travel 4.6km then keep right (leave Blackheath Creek Rd on the left).
(Coxes River Rd changes name to Ganbenang Rd).
Travel 8.5km then go straight on at the intersection of Ganbenang Rd & Lowther Siding Rd.
Travel 4.5km then bear left onto Cullenbenbong Rd.
Travel 5.9km the camp site will be on your left

When traveling from the Goulburn/Oberon direction travel along Jenolan Caves Rd towards Hampton.
From the Hampton Halfway Hotel travel approximately 6km east.
Turn right at the intersection of Lowther Siding Rd & Jenolan Caves Rd
Travel approximately 3km then turn right at the intersection with Ganbenang Rd (watch out, this intersection is dangerous)
Travel 4.5km then bear left onto Cullenbenbong Rd.
Travel 5.9km the camp site will be on your left

GRCNSW GOLD CUP RETRIEVING TRIAL 18TH OCT 2015 - RESULTS

Lucky for us the clouds came over & cooled the day down, a touch of rain but it only lasted a few minutws.

It was a great day for the competitors ( & if i may say( a well run event.

The trial was well supported by the club members so the competitors did not need to steward as well. Thanks goes to all the stewards & helpers on the day & all the lead up work that goes in running a retrieving trial.

Thanks also to the WGC for their assistance & use of their equipment.

Thank you to the property owner for allowing us to use such a wonderful trial ground.
