Using Easy Dog for the first time is certainly throwing up a few teething problems. Apparently Easy Dog has not interpreted the schedule correctly with no field for member entries. An email has been sent to them today so hopefully it will be sorted out on Monday.

Victorian Gundog Club Easter Trial - Site map

Postby Greg Playdon » Tue 22 Mar 2016 4:31 pm

The Heart Morass site location is about 3km South of Sale off the South Gippsland Highway, turn right onto the road to the historic swing bridge (if you cross the river you have gone to far), follow this road along the river, just before the swing bridge there is a track off to the left which also follows the river, follow this track for 1.2 km you will arrive at a locked gate which a key will be available at the camp. The gate must remain LOCKED at all times.

The following link will lead you to a map in google maps

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... dg=feature

Camping will be 50 metres through the main gate, access will be available around midday on Thursday for those who don't have keys to the gate, a key to the gate will be available at the camp.

**** Please note - The Heart Morass is a Private Reserve and Easter is in the Victorian duck shooting season, there will be other shooters on the site. You will need to carry your shooters licence at all times.

The Victorian Gundog Club March trial was held over Easter this year. We had very good entries including people from Queensland, NSW and Western Australia. The weather was just perfect for trialling with the Easter Bunny arriving in time for vetting on Sunday morning!

Our thanks go to Field & Game for making us welcome at Heart Morass with space set a side and prepared for camping. Thanks also to the Gippsland Retrieving Club for their support and providing a new property. The new property is great and the owners went out of their way to remove cattle and horses from the trial area. Without these people Clubs would not be able to run their trials so we can't thank them enough!
