RETRIEVING TRIAL FOR GUNDOGS SCHEDULE
To be held under the Rules and Regulation of the Victorian Canine Association Inc.
A copy may be inspected at the office of the Secretary of the fixture on the day of the trial.

VETTING TIME: 08.00 a.m. – 08.15 a.m.

START TIME: 08.30 a.m.

TROPHY LIST: Sash & Trophy will be presented to all placegetters to third place.

DRAW: At Trial Secretary's residence, 8.00 p.m., Sunday 18th September 2016

SHOOTERS LICENCE: At all Retrieving & Field Trials conducted in Victoria, a competitor MUST produce a current shooters licence at vetting, or they WILL NOT be permitted to compete at the trial.

TRIAL VENUES: Properties used for Trials are private properties and MUST NOT be revisited after the trial. Entry to Trials is subject to this Condition.

NOTE: It is also a condition of entry that Competitors will assist with Stewarding on request.

CATERING: There will be NO CATERING at this trial

Thank you Peter Doley for the update.

Had a look around the trial site today and it is extremely wet underfoot. The plus is all the lagoons are full. Bring your gumboots and be prepared to walk. All competitor's will be required to leave their vehicles on the roadway and walk in to the stakes. Judges will be asked to consider the walking distances for competitors for each run.

Trial Site: Switzerland Road, Yea, Travel down Ghin Ghin Road 8.30 kms turn right into Switzerland Road.Do not via off road ,camp is at end of road

Ghin Ghin road is off Goulburn Valley Highway, Yea

In view of the ground conditions and the need to fit in a number of runs on the same property, please refrain from entering the trial site on Friday and/or training on the trial site over the weekend unless you have sought permission from the trial managers.

We have a number of non-trialling helpers on Saturday so please make them feel welcome - they are giving up their free time to make the day run more smoothly.

Camping is from midday on Friday.

Saturday vetting is scheduled for 8.00 - 8.15am.

Thanks to judges, competitors, stewards and VGC committee for your assistance - the day went more smoothly because of it. Special mentions on the day to Gareth for organising the trailer and game despite not competing, Karl for his continued maintenance of the guns, Russell W for managing AA, Philippa for managing Restricted/paperwork (all the way from SA!), Dianne V for managing Novice/paperwork, Lyn W for vetting/paperwork, Jo and Tamara who graduated from Dean's Advanced School of Throwing (thanks Dean!) and Peter Doley and the Golden Club for making it easy for a newbie trial manager.
