Congratulations to all those who took on the challenge and ventured to WA to compete in the Nationals.

Special congratulations to Russell and Noel and the various awards recipients.

I wasn't there to see the runs but I'm assuming there was plenty in the design to actually truly challenge many in the field.

Considering the exceptional quality of these elite dogs competing - you two (Russell/Noel) clearly have done a magnificent job with your dogs 'Chief', 'Maggie' and 'Duke' during the 2017 National Retrieving Championship.

To Russell in particular your performance with 'Chief' in recent years is quite remarkable and sets the sort of benchmark many in the sport aspires to. 'Maggie' - being young and super talented -no doubt will be in the mix for years to come.
Well done Noel with 'Duke'. Enormous talent to tap into.

Congratulations to Ray and Eleanor and the WA Championship Committee and support team.
It is always challenging and demanding on everyone involved to put together an event like a National.
Cheers,

Elio

Was the winning team, Chief & Russell awarded a Certificate Of Merit, or only the second and third placegetters?

Wayne,
A glitch in the results as written,
A DM ( Diploma of Merit) as can only be awarded at Championships, went to the first and second place dogs only for their fantastic efforts overthe three days.

Hi Allan
thank you for the correction regarding the Diploma of Merit (DM) Awards.
