Unfortunately typical Meningie weather - the farmers love it when the triallers come to town as it always seems to rain ! We had a short hail storm at vetting on Saturday morning then rain off and on. The wind reached high speeds whilst Mark Stockdale and Lowther Swift were competing in the afternoon and their perseverance was commendable - we were all having trouble standing upright and the dog kept working. This was coupled with another rain storm during which Alan Christmas and Rob Dolphin were stuck out on throwers while the rest of us took cover and the trial was stopped until it passed. That was Saturday, weather wise Sunday was much kinder to all. Thank you to every-one who helped on the week-end, your efforts are greatly appreciated by the competitors as well as RAFT Advisory Panel.
