WA State Retreiving Championship Results 9/10 September

THE 2023 W.A. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RETRIEVING TRIAL

The event was held on 9th and 10th of September on a beautiful private property in Katrine with the kind permission of the owners.

We would like to thank our visiting judges for the awesome runs they put on over the two days.
Judge: Paul Towning (QLD) for Runs 1, 3 and 5. Aiding Paul was his Run Manager Allan Bartram and our wonderful field stewards, Angela, Dennis, Terry and Adam.
Judge: Joe Barber (QLD) for Runs 2, 4 and 6. Aiding Joe was his Run Manager Anthony Nisbitt and our wonderful field stewards, Anne, Steve, Mark and Colin.

Huge thank you also to our terrific Trial Manger Catherine Thorburn for an awesome run trial.

Results: 28 Entered and 6 Finished.

1st - Ntl R.T. Ch Adderslot Maggie May DM, owned by Russell Whitechurch and handled by Greg Playdon on 325 points.
2nd - Ntl R.T. Ch Terranaut Pawsey, handled by Joe Vella on 317 Points.
3rd - R.T.Ch Ellishea Wyatts Flash (AI) CM, handled by Heather Ellis on 301 Points.
4th - R.T. Ch Tirnanoge Lady Reva DM CM, handled by Karl Britton on 295 Points.
5th - R.T. Ch Adderslot Digger DM, handled by Greg Playdon on 286 Points.

Highest Scoring Veteran:- Ntl R.T. Ch Adderslot Maggie May DM handled Greg Playdon.
Highest Scoring Non-Champion:- Richfield Rhoda B Willing and Bob Pickworth. Also finished.
Highest Scoring Team:- Team 6 on 650 Points - (7) Paul & Blue, (6) Kerry & Tux and (18) Joe & Pawsey.
Highest Scoring Golden Retriever: - R.T.Ch Ellishea Wyatts Flash (AI) CM, and Heather Ellis.
