ACT GUNDOG SOCIETY
SPANIEL & RETRIEVER FIELD TRIAL SCHEDULE

To be held under ANKC Rules for the Conduct of Field Trials for Spaniels & Retrievers and relevant State Game Laws (NSW)

Open Stake – Saturday 29 August 2009 - Judge – Mr. Steve Austin (NSW)
The Society reserves the right to change or appoint additional Judges.

Dogs ACT Representative: Mr. G Parkinson
Venue: Please ring Trial Manager, Mr. Robert Tawton (02) 6288 9997 or 0417 209 831 the Wednesday evening prior to the Trial for details of Trial Site.

Assembly time and vetting: 8 a.m. Only dogs which have been checked in will be permitted to compete in the Trial. Bitches in oestrum will not be permitted on the Trial grounds.

Trophies:
1st & 2nd - Trophy and Sash; 3rd - Sash.
A Qualifying Certificate may be awarded at the discretion of the Judge to any dog that has shown during a Trial that it is not gun-shy, that it will hunt, face covert, and retrieve game tenderly, steadiness not being essential.

Entry fees:
$20.00 per dog per Trial, $15 for subsequent dogs. Donations to Trophy Fund would be most welcome.
Cheques should be made payable ACT Gundog Society Inc. No entries will be accepted without payment.

Note: Please use official ANKC Entry Forms and quote your dog’s ANKC registration number. No entries accepted without registration details.
Firearms Licence numbers to be shown on entry forms. Firearms Licences must be available for sighting on the day of the Trial.

Entries close Wednesday 12 August, with the Trial Secretary, 4 Shiels Place, Curtin ACT 2605

The Trial will be held under the ANKC Rules for the Conduct of Field Trials for Spaniels & Retrievers and the constitution, bylaws, rules and regulations of the ACT Gundog Society Inc. and the ACT Canine Association Inc., copies of which may be inspected on request. State Game Laws must be observed.
Dogs must be on leads and under the control of handlers unless in actual competition. The Trial Manager will designate exercise areas. Trial grounds are private property and must not be visited before or after the Trial by handlers or spectators. Please remove all rubbish, including cartridge cases. Leave gates the way you find them. Do not visit other parts of the property. Video cameras may NOT be used.
