RETRIEVING AUSTRALIA FORUM

Last weekend the last of the Victorian field trials were held on released partridge at Sentosa game reserve. There were ten entries each day, all GSP's. The weather was fantastic, sunny, cool and a light to medium breeze. The birds all flew well, too well for some shooters, and kept us guessing as to their locations rather than staying put. The winning dogs each day gained their field trial champion titles, what a great way to end the year.

Thanks to Laurie Phelan for providing the well raised birds, to Vicki Thomas, Leanne O'Sullivan and Suet (sorry, don't know your last name) for placing birds and stewarding, to the judges for giving everyone every opportunity and the competitors for a great weekend.
