It is with real pleasure that the Victorian Gundog Club announce that Mr David Jones from Texas will be in Victoria at the end of August and will judge our Spaniel & Retriever Field Trials on August 27th & 28th. (Full schedules following and on the Club web site <www.victoriangundogclub.com>)

David, a Welshman by birth, is a professional trainer of gundogs having learnt his skills in the Saighton Kennels of Talbot Radcliffe, on Anglesey. He has been involved in breeding /trialling /judging gundogs at the top level in USA, Canada, UK and New Zealand. He specializes in breeding spaniels and pointers for shooting and trialling and his Strong Kennels are well known world wide.
We hope to see as many spaniel & retriever field trial people as possible in Victoria that weekend.
As well as the trials, the Club will organize an informal dinner at a local hostelry for the Saturday evening and a BBQ for those staying over on the Sunday night. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for partridge shooting on a commercial shoot on Monday August 30th.
Anyone interested in attending any or all of these events please let us know before 17th July so that we can make suitable arrangements.
For further information or to book the dinner, BBQ or partridge shoot, email the Trial Secretary, Rachel <wrangham@harboursat.com.au> phone 03 5368 7211 or the Trial Manager, Steve <glastonpark@hotmail.com> phone 03 5368 2820
