On Saturday at the Golden Retriever Trial at Chateau Tahbilk, Ian was suffering from chest pains whilst on the first run. After convincing him that he needed to go and have them checked out, it became obvious as we drove him from the run that he was in some trouble. We called an ambulance whilst driving through the property and organising for them to meet us at the main entry into the cellars. Once they arrived, they stablised him and took him to Seymour Hospital. The club rang the hospital in the afternoon to check on him and was advised that he had been transferred to Northern Hospital in Epping (Melbourne) for further tests. Ian's wife Julie called us back on Sunday to thank the club for all it's help with getting Ian to hospital and to advise that he had in fact suffered a heart attack. He is still in hospital but looking much better.
If anyone wishes to sen Ian a get well card, his address is: 126 Bluff Road, Black Rock Vic 3193
