Hi Bob,
Around the country there is a clear divergence in the S/R -Spaniel field trialing community with some running in ANKC S/R where dogs run in braces with equality of ground and one judge , to the SSAA /WAGA trials where Spaniels run in parallel under two judges.Of course there are some that run in both types of trials.
In Queensland there have been S/R trials on Brown Quail coveys but since the ban on a quail shooting season they are disallowed but by amending the rules to conform with the proposed changes for UD trials in states with no quail seasons, those S/R trials could still take place.
In the ANKC rules review is there scope to add options so that all formats are catered for by ANKC or is it vive la diference ?
Don't shoot the messenger!
Don
PS I tried to upload the SSAA rules but it wouldn't allow a .doc
