Directions to the Flatcoat Trial

Postby Kate Eltringham » Mon 28 Apr 2008 4:01 pm

Hi All,

Directions to get to the Flatcoat Trial on the weekend, for those of you that have been there before it's the same site we've used the past couple of years.

Reminder, the club will be catering breakfast and lunch on the day to help fund the trial.

DIRECTIONS
Trial site is South of Geelong and on the Eastern side of the Surf Coast Highway. From Melbourne you just follow the highway through Geelong. When you cross the bridge over the Barwon River you will then drive along a long elevated road, up a hill and the road curves to the right. About a kilometre past the top of the hill turn off to the left and Follow the Surf Coast Highway, also known as Torquay Road toward Torquay. Eventually you will cross a rail line shortly after this you will pass the Geelong Airport (on your right), you will cross Lower Duneed Rd, Next left should be McCanns Road, turn left into this and then right into Horseshoe Bend Road. The entrance gate to the site will be found 400 meters on the left.

Cheers

Kate
