This thread has been opened for anyone willing and able to make progress reports from this weekend’s (20-721 Aug) Championship Trial to keep us informed.

Short walk up mark on left, blind in centre, longer mark on right. Marks out of sight
Get blind RH mark LH Mark

Run 3 10 starters
Double mark and two bird
Long mark on left, long mark on right out of site
Shoot left shoot right. Send for left then two bird on return. Send for right, send for two bird

Run 4 last of the day 10 starters
Double blind across water long land mark on the right.
Leave your dog shoot both blinds, reload call dog, shoot rh mark. Get left blind, get centre blind, get long mark
Day 1 completed lost Graham Allen on the last run which means 9 starters tomorrow.

Day 2 Run 1 Double rise and double fall
1st Dog Bob Tawton

Run 2 Last run
Double mark and blind across splashing water.
Walk to first peg shoot short mark on left, leave dog goto second pegs fire at blind reload call dog shoot right hand long mark.
Get blind in centre get left hand bird get right hand bird

Final run completed lost two dogs John Stott and Bob Tawton
