SA borders relaxed to Victorians

Postby Jessie Hughes » Fri 25 Jun 2021 12:13 am

Victorians - Welcome to SA !

People coming into SA from Regional Victoria do not have to test or isolate, effective 12:01am 25 June 2021 – that’s from now.

Restrictions
All travellers who have been in Greater Melbourne within the previous 14 days of their entry to South Australia are permitted to enter South Australia but are subject to modified Level 3 requirements:

• COVID-19 test on day 1
• Self-quarantine until undertaken the first COVID-19 test (do not need to wait for the result)
• No entry into high risk setting for 14 days after arrival, unless clause 9 applies
• No entry to COVID Management Plan events over 1000 for 14 days after arrival

Which means cross the border into SA and drive to Tailem Bend if you’re coming via Bordertown, have your Covid test at adjacent to Caltex Service Station, 8786 Princes Highway, Tailem Bend SA Open 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, 7 days a week. Then you have no restrictions and come to the trials.

Read all about it here if you want more:

Please note – there are 2 testing sites at Meningie listed on the SA Health website – they will not, and never have, done Covid testing, so please just go to Tailem Bend.

We’re looking forward to seeing the Victorians entered this week-end at the Golden Retriever Club trials. Meningie entries for 3rd and 4th July have been extended til 12 noon, SA time, Wednesday 30th June to accommodate those waiting to see what was happening with the borders.
