Labrador Club of WA Novice & Restricted 20 May

The Labrador Club held their first Novice and Restricted trial for the year at a beautiful site in Crossman, our thanks to the property owners for allowing us to once again use these lovely grounds and to Kerry Webster for organising permission to use the site.

MOSSBANK NOVICE STAKE
Judge, Mr Mark Jackson, set some lovely achievable, runs to test the Novice dogs on land and water, with all eight dogs able to complete the course with varying degrees of success.
Ms Eleanor Johnson very efficiently assisted as Chief Steward.
We are very grateful to our Stewards: Ann Graham, Dennis Graham, Mike McClure and Kirsty Jackson, your support is invaluable.
Our thanks also to the competitors who all staged up for their runs in a timely manner .

1st Boomermagic Back On Line SWN – LRD - Maggie Hankinson – 181 pts.
2nd Mhadaidh Pips Redhot N Special – GRB - Anne Cameron – 175 pts.
3rd –Boomermagic Guns In The Sky SWA - LRB – Colin Hankinson – 174 pts.
This was the third Novice win for Grian, qualifying him for his NRD title. CONGRATULATIONS.

RESTRICTED STAKE
Judge, Ms Eli Johnson set three great runs for the restricted dogs, with each run testing the dogs understanding of more advanced concepts.
Mr Mark Jackson assisted as Chief steward and kept the runs running smoothly.
We are once again very grateful to our Stewards: Ann Graham, Dennis Graham, Mike McClure and Kirsty Jackson and also to our Novice competitors Kerry Webster and Trisha McGregor, who helped in out in Restricted.

1st - Ellishea Rips Stormgirl - GRB – Heather Ellis – 149 pts. This Restricted win also qualified Mia for NRD title CONGRATULATIONS.
2nd - Boomermagic Back On Line SWN – LRD - Maggie Hankinson – 126 pts.
3rd – Boomermagic By My Side - LRB – Maggie Hankinson – 116 pts.

Top Score Run 1 – Double mark with walk up - Kuven Titans Dansa – 58 pts.
Top Score Run 2 – Double rise and Two bird - Ellishea Rips Stormgirl – 51 pts.
Top Score Run 3 – Mark into water and blind across water - Ellishea Rips Stormgirl – 44 pts.
