INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE ABOUT TO REGISTER FOR FULL SITE ACCESS
So you want to register, hey that’s great! Registration will give you access to even more content and other forum privileges. Before you click on the Register link however, there’s a few things we want you to know, so please read the following carefully:

Registration does not mean you will automatically receive access.
This sounds a bit harsh we know, but hear our side of the story. Fake registrations are a really big problem, not only for Retrieving Australia, but for most online forums theses days. Unfortunately there are unscrupulous people in this world who unleash programs that try to gain access to forums like this by generating automated registrations. If these get accepted, theses 'Spambots' place posts on the site that contain links to scams and other nasty things. Everyday, we receive around 200 fake registrations which we have to identify and purge from our system. It’s a brain-numbing manual task and sometimes real registrations are missed or accidentally deleted in the process.

Improve your chances for successful registration.
By following these few simple steps you can help us to identify that you are indeed a real person and thus ensure your approval! When registering...

1. Use your real name (not a pseudonym) for your Username, and type it using caps & lower case with spaces, e.g. John Smith

2. Then follow the password instructions* and other info requests carefully. After submitting your registration your account will be created and you should receive an email, but the account must still be activated by the site Administrator before you can login.

3. To ensure your registration is not mistaken for Spam, you must send a separate email to retrievingaustralia@gmail.com to inform us that you have just registered. This will prove that you are in fact a human and help us to locate your registration on our system for approval.

* IMPORTANT: Please note that future log-ins will be ‘case-sensitive’ meaning you will need to type your Username and Password exactly as you entered them in your registration, including the use of upper & lower case letters, numbers and spaces. Please keep this in mind particularly when creating your password.
