We extend a warm welcome and invite you to get to know our Club.

The Working Gundog Club Inc. (WGC) is the most active gundog and retrieving club in New South Wales. We are devoted to supporting working activities for all purebred Gundog breeds in Australia. We are also the sponsors of this website, Retrieving Australia.

Each year our club conducts at least 3 Retrieving Trials, 2 Retrieving Ability Tests, Training and Demonstration Days and other activities. Details of our planned events for this year appear here under NSW in the "Trial Dates" section. Look for “WGC” listings.

You don’t have to be a member to take part in our activities, but membership does have great benefits.

MEMBERSHIP

WGC membership is open to anyone who subscribes to the objects and rules of the Club Constitution.

Many of our members are experienced breeders, triallers and exhibitors who further the club's activities by helping new members to understand all aspects of gundog ownership. Members also receive access to special WGC member postings that appear the Forum section of this site.

Full membership - is open to anyone over eighteen years of age who owns a registered gundog or who has a genuine interest in the breed.

To join, simply download and complete our Membership Application Form (PDF File) and return it to the Secretary with the appropriate fees.
